Walygator Sud Ouest

Located in Roquefort, a few kilometers from Agen in Lot-et-Garonne, Walygator Sud-Ouest Park is a major leisure destination in Southwestern France. Formerly Walibi Aquitaine, the park changed its name in 2021 but has retained its status as a family entertainment venue, offering a wide range of attractions in a pleasant and green setting of 30 hectares, dominated by an authentic 18th-century castle. It also has an adjacent water park, Aqualand Agen.

Atmosphere of Thrills and Good Cheer

The atmosphere at Walygator Sud-Ouest aims to be both sensation-rich and convivial. The park combines the excitement of its thrill rides with a relaxed atmosphere conducive to moments shared with family or friends. Although the change of identity may have marked a transition for regulars of the Walibi era, the park has retained a soul and an ability to create good memories. The presence of themed areas helps to vary the atmospheres throughout the day. Special events, such as Halloween periods (Walloween), punctuate the season and add a special thematic touch. The mascot Waly also participates in the animation of the park and interaction with visitors.

Attractions for All Boldness Levels

Walygator Sud-Ouest offers a variety of attractions designed to appeal to a wide audience, from toddlers to thrill-seekers. Among the emblematic attractions, the Boomerang stands out: this steel roller coaster, reaching a height of 38 meters, propels passengers at over 85 km/h with inversions and spirals, offering guaranteed sensations. The Mine de Thor is another roller coaster that offers a winding course. Water attractions are also very popular, including the Radja River, a buoy descent on a tumultuous river, and the Drakkar, a log flume-type attraction with a refreshing drop. A Splash Battle allows for playful water battles.

The park also has an extensive range of family and children's attractions, including gentler rides such as the Tea Cup, circuits (Melody Road, Tchou Tchou Aventure), a carousel (Galopant), a pirate ship, flying chairs, as well as playgrounds and attractions specially adapted for younger children (Bubble Up, Crazy Bus, Mission Apollo). Shows, such as the sea lion show, enrich the entertainment offer. In total, the park has around twenty attractions and shows, divided between thrill rides, family attractions and attractions for toddlers.
