Walygator Grand Est
Opened in 1989 under the name Big Bang Schtroumpf, this amusement park is now part of the Aspro-Ocio group. It is located in Lorraine, North of Metz, near the Amnéville activity zone known for its zoo and thermal baths. This park has its own train station.
In 1991, it became the property of Walibi then passed into the hands of Premier Parks in 1998 to become a Six Flags in 2000. In 2004, it changed owner before being taken over by two showmen in 2006 who, after financial difficulties, resold it, and it was the Aspro-Ocio group that acquired it in 2016. With the acquisition of Walibi Sud Ouest, the group renamed the Walygator park to Walygator Grand Est in 2020.
The park offers 3 thrill roller coasters and one roller coaster for children. The most impressive is The Monster, installed in 2010. It is a relocation of an Inverted Coaster from constructor B&M, coming from Japan.
