Just 20 minutes south of Oslo, the Vinterbro site forms a leisure complex that brings together two distinct areas. In summer, your ticket gives you access to a double experience: thrills on one side, and water slides on the other.
Tusenfryd, the Main Amusement Park
This is the heart of the complex, renowned for its roller coasters on a wooded hillside. It's here that you'll find the thrills of SpeedMonster (Intamin launch) and Storm (Gerstlauer triple launch), as well as the family areas Frydskogen and Barnas Fryd nestled among the trees.
BadeFryd (The Integrated Water Park)
Included with the main ticket during the peak summer season (generally from mid-June to mid-August), BadeFryd is the complex's outdoor water area.
On the program: A large wave pool, family slides, paddling pools for little ones, and a wild river. The water is heated to around 25°C.
It's the perfect spot for a refreshing afternoon break after tackling the steep slopes of the amusement park.
What's Around: The Vinterbro Ecosystem
Visiting Tusenfryd is also an opportunity to discover the Nordre Follo region and the surroundings of the Oslo Fjord. Here is our selection of activities and accommodations to extend your stay around the park.
Activities & Nature
- Hvervenbukta Beach: Located about ten minutes north towards Oslo, it's one of the most popular beaches on the fjord. Great for an evening picnic or a dip after a day of rides.
- The historic village of Drøbak: 15 minutes south of the park, this charming little fishing port with white wooden houses houses the "Santa Claus House" (Tregaardens Julehus) open all year round, as well as an aquarium on fjord fauna. An excellent, typically Norwegian stop.
Relaxation & Well-being (The Scandinavian Experience)
- The Well Spa: Located less than 10 minutes from Tusenfryd, it is one of the largest wellness complexes in Northern Europe (indoor/outdoor pools, dozens of saunas, ice rituals). Ideal for relaxing your muscles after the G-forces of the park.
