Parc du Petit Prince
Nestled in Alsace, in Ungersheim, between Mulhouse and Colmar, Le Parc du Petit Prince (The Little Prince Park) is a unique theme park, entirely dedicated to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's timeless work. This park offers a gentle and poetic immersion into the world of the famous Little Prince, inviting visitors of all ages to rediscover the magic of childhood and the importance of seeing the world with the eyes of the heart.
Poetic and Natural Atmosphere
The atmosphere at Le Parc du Petit Prince is marked by the poetry and serenity of the work that inspires it. Far from the hustle and bustle of some large parks, it invites a gentler pace, sometimes described as "slow life," conducive to contemplation and family sharing. The park is integrated into a preserved natural setting, with significant emphasis on green spaces and animals, echoing Saint-Exupéry's beloved themes such as ecology and connection with nature. Encounters with animals (foxes, sheep, pigeons) are also offered, reinforcing this connection. The general atmosphere is soothing and charming, punctuated by decorative elements and quotes from the book that constantly recall the world of the Little Prince.
Attractions Between Heaven and Earth
Le Parc du Petit Prince is distinguished by its original attractions that allow visitors to explore Saint-Exupéry's universe in a fun and varied way. The park is particularly known as the first aerial park in the world, offering unique experiences at heights. The two large tethered balloons, La Planète du Roi (The King's Planet) and La Planète de l'Allumeur (The Lamplighter's Planet), allow you to rise to 150 meters altitude to admire a breathtaking view of the Alsatian landscapes, the Vosges and the Black Forest. The Aérobar du Buveur (The Drunkard's Aerobar) offers the chance to have a drink with your feet dangling in the air at 35 meters high.
Beyond the aerial attractions, the park also offers rides for more classic thrills, such as Le Serpent and Pierre de Tonnerre (Thunderstone), roller coasters that offer their share of thrills. Atlantique Sud (South Atlantic) is a refreshing water ride. The park also has a variety of family and children's attractions, including rides suitable for younger children (Aérousel, Saute-Mouton), playgrounds (Le Volcan, Serpent Boa), a labyrinth, trampolines, as well as immersive experiences such as a 3D cinema and interactive encounters with characters (via shows or animations). Poetic animal shows are also part of the offering.
A Park to Rediscover Your Inner Child
Le Parc du Petit Prince is aimed at a wide audience, but its primary target is undoubtedly families with children. The park is designed to allow different generations to share special moments together. The attractions are varied to suit children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers. Adults are also invited to rediscover their inner child by rediscovering the poetic world of Saint-Exupéry and enjoying attractions that can also provide thrills. The family-friendly nature and human scale of the park, combined with its peaceful atmosphere, make it an ideal destination for a relaxing and fun family day out in an original and inspiring setting. It is also suitable for hosting groups.
