Nigloland
The Nigloland amusement park opened its doors on June 13, 1987. It was founded by two brothers and former showmen, Patrice and Philippe Gélis. The park takes its name from its mascot, a hedgehog named Niglo.
The park is composed of 4 zones:
- The Canadian village
- The Rock'n'roll village
- The Wonderful village
- The Swiss village
The park welcomes nearly 650,000 visitors per year and is constantly developing by adding thrill rides and a hotel to become a real resort.
The latest additions to the Nigloland amusement park are:
- Krapus Expedition (2021): a water coaster
- Noisette Express (2020): a family coaster
- Alpina Blitz (2014): a thrill coaster with many airtimes
- Donjon de l'extrême: a drop tower with impressive rotation due to its height
The amusement park is ideal for families looking for a park on a human scale. The park is very well maintained and very green. Operations are efficient with very friendly staff.
Nigloland is increasingly focusing on the Halloween period to end the season with its Nigloween event, which is also a very family-friendly event with special entertainment and night shows.
The hotel is pirate-themed and offers a few dozen rooms. It also offers a renowned buffet and an outdoor play area for children.
