CanevaWorld Resort, of which Movieland Park is an essential component, began its development in the 1980s. Initially, the site was known for its water park, the Caneva Aquapark. The idea of creating a themed park dedicated to cinema materialized later. Movieland Park opened its doors in 2002. Its development has been marked by a constant commitment to renewing its attractions and shows, often drawing inspiration from cult films or popular genres, such as action or horror. The complex is managed by the Amicabile family. Development has also focused on diversifying the offerings, integrating interactive experiences and distinct thematic zones.
