Liseberg
Liseberg offers a rich and varied collection of over 40 attractions, providing experiences for all tastes, from gentle rides for children to internationally renowned roller coasters.
For thrill-seekers, the park has several spectacular roller coasters. Helix, built into the hillside by Mack Rides, is a launched coaster praised for the fluidity of its nearly 1400-meter track and its seven inversions, offering moments of weightlessness and a sensation of speed even if the launches are not the most intense. Balder, a wooden roller coaster, is highly appreciated for the quantity and quality of its airtime. Valkyria, an Intamin dive machine, offers an impressive vertical drop, being the longest of its kind in Europe when it opened. Lisebergbanan is another roller coaster that winds through the park's landscape, offering a pleasant ride integrated into the hill. More recently, Luna, a Vekoma Family Boomerang opened in Luna Park, has attracted attention by being the tallest and fastest of its kind at its inauguration.
The park also features thrill rides other than roller coasters, such as AtmosFear, a 116-meter free-fall tower offering a dizzying drop, Loke, a Giant Gyro Swing, AeroSpin, and Mechanica, rides providing significant rotations and G-forces.
To cool off, Liseberg offers water attractions. Le FlumeRide is a classic log flume attraction with a splashing final descent. Kållerado is an Intamin rapids ride, known for its long themed course and the possibility of getting very wet.
The family and children's offering is very comprehensive. Kaninlandet brings together many gentle rides suitable for younger children. Underlandet is a family dark ride based on animatronics, designed mainly for children but appreciated by adults for its quality. The park also has a Ferris wheel, a pirate ship, flying chairs, bumper cars, and many other classic and modern attractions accessible to different ages and sizes.
In addition to the rides, Liseberg offers various entertainment, including shows, concerts on its various stages, a dance floor (Polketten), and walk-through attractions such as Spökhotellet Gasten, a haunted house with actors (paid access).
