Located in Mason, in the Cincinnati suburbs, it is one of the most massive and renowned regional parks in the United States, notably for its collection of world-class roller coasters and its history linked to Hanna-Barbera and then Paramount.

The Resort

Kings Island (Theme Park)

The main park, famous for its world records and iconic themed areas (Action Zone, Coney Mall, Rivertown, Camp Snoopy).

Key Attractions (Major Coasters):

  • The Beast: The legendary wooden coaster, still the longest in the world (over 2,200 meters) winding through the woods. A legendary experience, especially at night.
  • Orion: A Bolliger & Mabillard (B&M) Giga Coaster with a 91-meter drop.
  • Diamondback: An ultra-smooth B&M Hyper Coaster with a final splashdown in the water.
  • Mystic Timbers: An excellent wooden coaster from GCI, fast-paced and intense, featuring its famous "Mystery Shed" at the end.
  • Banshee: One of the largest and longest Inverted Coasters in the world.
  • Kids' Area: Often voted the best kids' area in the world (formerly Nickelodeon Universe, now centered on the Peanuts with Camp Snoopy).

Soak City (Water Park)

Included with the main admission ticket, this 35-acre (14-hectare) water park is directly accessible from inside Kings Island.

  • Facilities: More than 50 water activities, including two massive wave pools, lazy rivers, and major slide complexes like Zoom Flume and Tropical Plunge (trap-door slides).
