Hossoland
The map of amusement parks in Eastern Europe is about to be enriched with the construction of Hossoland, a new large-scale entertainment complex currently under development in Poland. Located in Brojce, West Pomerania, this ambitious project aims to become a major destination for visitors from across the region. As work progresses, initial information reveals the outlines of a park that promises immersion in diverse thematic universes and a diversified range of attractions. The opening is scheduled for 2025, although this remains to be confirmed as there is still much work to be done.
Planned Atmosphere and Themed Worlds
Hossoland is designed to immerse visitors in distinct worlds through four planned thematic zones. These include Sorenka Town, Baltambria, and Land of the Vikings. Each zone should offer a specific atmosphere, relying on elaborate sets to transport visitors into these different narrative universes. The goal seems to be to create an immersive and exotic atmosphere, inviting exploration and adventure through these different thematic realms. The park's design is being developed in collaboration with companies specializing in the creation of themed environments, suggesting a particular attention to visual details and the overall experience.
Attractions Under Construction and Planned
The future Hossoland park announces a significant number of attractions, with approximately 50 rides and experiences ultimately planned on an area of 40 hectares. The offering will include a variety of attractions for different thrill levels. Among the expected highlights are several roller coasters, including a Vekoma multi-launch coaster, presented as one of the manufacturer's largest with a height of approximately 53 to 55 meters and a top speed of up to 117 km/h. A Mack aquacoaster, a clone of an existing model, is also planned, adding an aquatic dimension to the thrills. Attractions such as a rapid river ride, a gyro swing (giant pendulum), and a frisbee ride are also among the planned installations, promising a range of varied experiences ranging from family rides to high-adrenaline rides. The construction of the first roller coaster has begun, suggesting the realization of these ambitious projects. A separate water park is also being CONSIDERED as part of future extensions.
Target Audience
Hossoland aims to attract a broad audience, both in Poland and among international visitors, particularly from Germany and the Scandinavian countries. While targeting an extensive European clientele, the park is also described as a "Family Entertainment Park," which suggests a particular focus on families with children. The diversity of planned attractions, covering both rides for young children, family attractions, and more intense experiences, corroborates this desire to appeal to all age groups. The park also plans numerous catering and retail facilities, designed to accommodate a significant number of visitors and meet their needs on site.
