Europa Park
The Europa Park amusement park was inaugurated on July 12, 1976. The amusement park consists of 59 attractions. It attracted 5.7 million visitors in 2019.
The park is made up of different themed areas: the Adventure Land, Arthur - In the Minimoys Kingdom, Germany, England, France, Greece, Holland, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, the Grimm Enchanted Forest, Austria, Luxembourg, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Scandinavia and Spain.
As for attractions, you will find many roller coasters including:
- blue fire Megacoaster, a launched roller coaster
- Euro-Mir, a spinning roller coaster
- Eurosat CanCan Coaster, an indoor roller coaster
- Silver Star, a hyper coaster
- Wodan, wooden roller coaster
- Voltron, a launched roller coaster with tight turns
After the thrills, you will find more family-friendly or children's attractions.
Among the attractions not to be missed:
- Voletarium, a flying dynamic cinema
- Pirates of Batavia, a dark ride in a boat in the world of pirates
- Atlantica SuperSplash, a boat ride that ends in a huge final splash
- Poseidon, a family water coaster
Many other attractions are available and you will have a hard time doing everything in one day. A stay will quickly be necessary :)
