Disney California Adventure Park

Disney California Adventure, also commonly called DCA, is a theme park located in Anaheim, California at the Disneyland Resort. This 29-hectare park is themed around California history and culture, highlighting the spirit of adventure and fun of this state through the use of Disney, Pixar, and Marvel licenses. This park opened on February 8, 2001, as the second park of the resort. Upon the park's opening, Disney was disappointed with the number of visitors, well below projections. Disney then undertook a project to add new attractions and new shows to attract more people. In 2007, Disney announced an expansion of the park as well as a more general renovation. The work lasted 5 years and was done in phases, culminating in the opening of Buena Vista Street and especially Cars Land in 2012.

According to statistics, the park welcomed approximately 9.9 million visitors in 2018, making it the 12th most visited park in the world.
