The Daegu E-World site has a history dating back to its previous existence as Woobang Tower Land. It was initiated as Woobang Tower Land in the 1990s. The complex was later acquired and underwent a major transformation to become what it is today, adopting the name E-World. This transition marked a renewal for the park, with the addition of new attractions and the modernization of facilities, aiming to make it a premier entertainment venue in Korea.
