Busch Gardens Tampa is located in Tampa on the west coast of Florida. Its various attractions are themed around the African continent. It opened its doors in 1959.

The Busch Gardens Tampa Theme Park

It mixes attractions and a zoo in a theme presenting several regions of Africa, such as the Morocco-themed entrance area, the Egyptian section with the two roller coasters Cobra's Course and Montu, and Serengeti Plain with a train or cable car safari through the animals. The variety of attractions is such that everyone will find something they enjoy, both families with young children with the Sesame Street area and its many attractions accessible to younger children, but also thrill-seeking visitors with the Stanleyville area and its two extreme roller coasters Tigris and Sheikra, or the Pantopia area and its famous Falcon's Fury drop tower where the passengers' seats fall face down. In 2020, all eyes are on Busch Gardens Tampa with the transformation of an old wooden double roller coaster into a Hybrid wood and steel monster that will break world records including the steepest drop and the fastest speed thanks to an American company well known to amusement park fans, RMC, Rocky Mountain Construction. This attraction will be named Iron Gwazi.

Many restaurants offering cuisine from around the world will delight even the pickiest palates. Otherwise, more classic snacks will satisfy those more hesitant to try new flavors. For visitors wishing to bring back souvenirs from the park, shops are scattered throughout each zone. The Seaworld group has also signed with Nike or Guy Harvey, a nice collection of clothing.

Adventure Island Water Park

With its 30 acres, it is the largest water park in Tampa. It offers 2 pools, 10 different slides and 3 wading pools for children. It also offers a multitude of beaches with lounge chairs for lounging under the hot Florida sun. Many restaurants and shops allow you to indulge yourself. To keep your bags safe while you are on the slides, a locker service is available for rent for the day as are fresh towels.
