A mixed experience at the heart of PortAventura
Do you dream of thrills and immersion in the world of the famous prancing horse brand? Ferrari Land, the theme park dedicated to Ferrari, promises you a unique experience. But what is the reality of this promise?
Ferrari Land: The Italian dream... or almost
Ferrari Land park, located at PortAventura in Spain, aims to transport visitors to Italy, into the heart of the Ferrari universe. The well-maintained facades and bright colors do indeed create a pleasant Italian atmosphere. The park is a true showcase for the brand, with shops offering exclusive derivative products and a museum dedicated to the history of Ferrari.
Red Force: The sacred monster of roller coasters
Ferrari Land's flagship attraction is undoubtedly Red Force. With its 112 meters high and reaching 180 km/h in just a few seconds, this roller coaster is a breathtaking experience for thrill-seekers. The feeling of lightness and speed is indescribable. However, as the video highlights, Red Force is subject to frequent breakdowns, which can be frustrating for visitors.
The downsides
Despite its assets, Ferrari Land presents a few flaws that tarnish the overall experience:
Prices: The park is relatively expensive, particularly concerning food. The prices charged are often considered excessive compared to the quality of the products offered.
Waiting times: Queues can be very long, especially for Red Force. The throughput of the attractions seems slow, which can spoil the experience for the most impatient visitors.
Lack of attractions: The park is small in size and offers a limited number of attractions. Once Red Force has been experienced, there may be a lack of activities to fill the rest of the day.
Frequent closure: The park is often closed, and Red Force is particularly prone to breakdowns. It is therefore advisable to check opening hours before visiting.
Welcome: The hotel staff are generally friendly and welcoming, but the park staff seems less attentive to visitors.
Who is Ferrari Land for?
Ferrari Land is primarily aimed at fans of the Ferrari brand and thrill-seekers. If you are looking for a unique experience and are willing to pay the price, Red Force is worth the detour. However, if you are looking for a more complete and varied theme park, you may be disappointed.
Our opinion on Ferrari Land
Ferrari Land is a park with two sides. On the one hand, it offers a unique and immersive experience in the Ferrari universe. On the other hand, it suffers from a few flaws that can spoil the experience, such as high prices, long waits, and a lack of attractions. If you wish to visit Ferrari Land, it is advisable to check opening hours carefully and plan a substantial budget.
