Parc Astérix 2027 : Londres gaulois, retrack mythique et triomphe aux Parcs Fans Awards

Parc Astérix 2027: Gaulish London, mythical retrack and triumph at the Parks Fans Awards

Between the spectacular revelations from Delphine Pons about the new attractions for 2027 and the 100% Gaulish list of winners at the Parcs Fans Awards, the future looks more thrilling than ever! Hold on tight, we're taking you on a tour of what awaits you with our favorite Gauls, featuring colossal construction projects, a legendary retrack, and a shower of awards!

Londinium 2027: The Park's Biggest Indoor Project

The announcement that captivated the assembly is undoubtedly the creation of the Londinium area. In 2027, the park will radically transform the entrance with an immersion into the London featured in the album Astérix chez les Bretons.

This project is strategic: it is a mostly indoor area, designed for visitor comfort during the low season.

The Intamin "Story Coaster": This won't be just a simple coaster. Delphine Pons mentioned a strong narrative experience, using cutting-edge technologies to blend physical thrills and visual immersion (screens, animated sets).

The Alterface interactive attraction: Completing the family offering, this interactive "dark ride" will allow visitors to get directly involved in the story thanks to a latest-generation shooting system.

The British atmosphere: To complete the immersion, a genuine English Pub and a vertical play area (to let the little Gauls blow off steam) will be built.

Hospitality: Heading East with L'Odyssée

The park continues its transformation into a stay destination (resort). In 2027, the L'Odyssée hotel will open its doors. Unlike the first three hotels nestled in the forest, this one will feature mineral architecture inspired by the Caravanserai. The 300 rooms will be divided into five themes: Oasis, Phoenician, Persian, Egyptian, and Mesopotamian. A large-scale seminar center is also planned to attract business clientele throughout the year.

The Tonnerre de Zeus Surprise: Salvation Comes from RMC

This is the topic all fans are talking about: the comfort of Tonnerre de Zeus. Despite the "2nd Generation" retrack, vibrations remained a major drawback. The park has decided: 60% of the track will benefit from an RMC (Rocky Mountain Construction) treatment. Starting this winter, steel rails (I-Box or hybrid type) will be installed on the existing wooden structure. The goal is clear: to rediscover the attraction's legendary speed and fluidity without sacrificing its "Wooden Coaster" soul.

🏆 The Parcs Fans Awards 2025 Winners List

The ceremony, held in the Theatre of Poseidon, rewarded French excellence. Parc Astérix achieved a near "Grand Slam," but competition remains fierce.

Park Trips Analysis

We took advantage of this event to test Cétautomatix, the spinning coaster in the Gaulish zone. Our verdict is positive: despite a short layout (190m type), the integration is meticulous, and the face-to-face interaction between the carts adds a real benefit during rotations.

Parc Astérix confirms its ambition to become the undisputed leader in Europe. Delphine Pons' transparency regarding technical challenges (particularly concerning Tonnerre de Zeus) shows a park that listens to its community.

Don't miss our vlog to experience the conference from the inside and see our test of Cétautomatix.
