It's not easy to choose because we are lucky to have many in Europe. With all the new attractions planned, it's almost a dilemma.
Our 5 Favorite Amusement Parks in Europe
Phantasialand
This park has been a real favorite since our first visit. It offers a good variety of attractions with excellent value for money. The new additions are superb, especially with a very successful level of theming that gives the park an incredible charm. The attractions allow the whole family to have fun.
This park is located in Germany near Cologne. To book your tickets, feel free to visit the official Phantasialand website, and for all park news, find our Phantasialand page.
Efteling
This amusement park is one of the oldest in Europe and has the advantage of being open 365 days a year (except in case of a pandemic, of course). With its majestic entrance, it's a very pleasant and spacious, very green park. The attractions are of very good quality and suitable for the whole family. The selection allows the whole family to have fun. To fully discover it, plan at least 2 days on site.
This park is located in the Netherlands near the city of Breda. To book your tickets, feel free to visit the official Efteling website, and for all park news, find our Efteling page.
Disneyland Paris
How can we not talk about Disneyland Paris? This destination is ideal for families to enjoy the magic of Disney in a life-sized format. You can enjoy an excellent day, or even several, in this magical universe, meeting your favorite characters and enjoying the many attractions. Aimed at a family audience, the attractions still offer good thrills, such as Hyperspace Mountain, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, or BTM, Big Thunder Mountain, the famous mine train, to name but a few.
This park is located in France to the east of Paris. To book your tickets, feel free to visit the official Disneyland Paris website, and for all news about the resort's parks, find our Disneyland Paris page.
Europa Park
This amusement park is one of the must-visits with numerous attractions. The Mack family heads the park. Being attraction manufacturers, they often introduce their new creations in this park, which is quite convenient for visitors to enjoy them. With the addition of the Rulantica water park, Europa Park has now become a destination where it's essential to spend a few days to fully enjoy it. The attractions are suitable for the whole family, and thrill-seekers will also be well catered for.
This amusement park is located in Germany in Rust, between Strasbourg and Colmar, but on the other side of the Rhine. To book your tickets or a stay, feel free to visit the official Europa Park website and find all news on our Europa Park page.
Energylandia
We confess, we haven't been there yet, but it's a destination to test, especially if you love roller coasters. It's the park in Europe with the most roller coasters. The models are varied, and there's truly a lot to enjoy. The park regularly invests in new attractions. Despite its young age, this park has quickly become a benchmark for all coaster fans. For younger children and families, the park has a good selection of attractions, but go there mainly for its roller coasters :)
This amusement park is located in Poland in the city of Zator, about a 40-minute drive from Krakow airport. To book your tickets, feel free to visit the official Energylandia website. The site is available in English if that's easier for you. If needed, feel free to contact us for help organizing a trip to Energylandia.
Other Amusement Parks in Europe
There are many other amusement parks in Europe, and of very different sizes. On Park Trips, you'll find our various visits and see that you can have an excellent day in a lovely regional amusement park, which offers unbeatable value for money. If you are fans of big attractions and roller coasters, many other parks will satisfy you, such as Parc Asterix, the Walibi parks, or Plopsaland.
