Last night, we had the incredible chance to experience a truly unique event at Bellewaerde Park: a private evening dedicated to CSEs (Social and Economic Committees). Far from the usual crowds, this opportunity allowed us to rediscover the park from a new perspective, enjoy our favorite attractions without waiting, and most importantly, immerse ourselves in the mysterious and magical atmosphere of an amusement park at dusk. Our camera was, of course, with us to capture every moment, and we are delighted to share the details of this nocturnal adventure with you.

Jungle Mission: A Surprising Renaissance

Our exploration began with the Jungle Mission, an attraction we knew well, but which held some nice surprises for us. From the first moments, we were struck by the new decorations and repainted elements. The attraction has become much more beautiful, with a level of detail that makes the immersion deeper. The animal enclosures, particularly those of the capybaras, have been completely redone and seemed much more proportionate and natural to us. The addition of new screens for the narration and an unprecedented airplane decoration really enriched the story. We were delighted to see the waterfall effect back and even spotted a new snake-shaped accessory. However, we noted that the music was a little too loud, slightly detracting from the peaceful atmosphere we expected. Furthermore, the water effects in the tunnel and other aquatic effects were unfortunately still absent, a slight drawback for an attraction that has otherwise been beautifully renovated.

Wakala and Thrills Without Waiting

One of the biggest advantages of this CSE evening was the almost complete absence of queues. This allowed us to fully enjoy attractions like Duel, where we didn't have to wait a single second. But the star of the evening, apart from Amazonia, was undoubtedly Wakala. We rode it several times back-to-back, and the "almost nighttime" experience was simply magical. The park's colors lit up as the sun set, creating an incredible atmosphere. It was a real pleasure to feel the speed and turns of Wakala with this very special atmosphere.

We also took a ride on the Screaming Eagle, but we must admit we found it disappointing. We sincerely hope it will be replaced by a real drop tower in the future!

Amazonia: The Big Test of the Evening

The highlight of the show, and the main reason for our visit that evening, was of course Amazonia. After its closure last year, we were eager to test its new features. And the least we can say is that we were not disappointed in terms of splashes! We were soaked from head to toe, even more than we remembered. Two new effects have been added, and while they were sometimes well-calibrated, other times they caught us by surprise, like when Maxime's glasses were broken by the force of the water! Despite this incident, we found the attraction incredibly fun and only wanted one thing: to ride it again.

Thanks to the low attendance, we were able to ride Amazonia several times in a row without any wait. We noticed significant braking before the main splash, and a strong brake with a water counter-current before the half-pipe, which reduced its speed and impact. We also observed changes in how the rafts were weighed, with a desire to fill them as much as possible. When there were only two of us in the raft, the intensity was lower and we got less wet.

However, Amazonia proved to be a "gas guzzler," with no less than two breakdowns during our visit. Despite these minor technical issues, we found the ride very fun and visually magnificent.

Other Water Pleasures and the Park's Atmosphere

To cool down after being stuck in the sun near the Wakala station, we also took a ride on Niagara. We noticed that sitting at the front of the boat, especially near the plexiglass, allows you to get less wet than at the back. The Bengal Rapid River was also a good option to cool down, although we hoped for new effects that weren't apparent. In fact, one effect continued to work, soaking Maxime from head to toe!

Towards the end of the evening, the park began to light up, adding a superb visual dimension to our visit. We were particularly impressed by the beauty and good preservation of the Indian area and the children's playground. Bellewaerde truly stands out for its many water attractions, which is a major asset on hot days. The park offers excellent value for money, and we are eager to discover the future 100 million euro investments planned for 2026, including a large restaurant with an adventure course and a huge pendulum ride.

Our Review of this Exclusive Evening

This CSE evening at Bellewaerde Park was a memorable experience. The low attendance allowed us to fully enjoy each attraction, test the new features of Amazonia despite its "quirks," and soak in the unique atmosphere of the park at dusk. We hope this detailed overview has made you want to discover or rediscover Bellewaerde Park, and perhaps even try one of these special evenings if the opportunity arises! Feel free to watch our video for a complete and visual immersion in this incredible adventure!
